The great thing about homeschooling is that you get to strike out and do it your own way, the way that best suits your children and your family!  However, it’s nice to know you’re not alone in your endeavors!  Our group strives to provide opportunities for both children and parents to come together for fun, fellowship, and support!

Field Trips in the surrounding local area never fail to offer learning opportunities!

The Christmas Party provides a time to create and craft gifts and ornaments.  This anticipated annual event sets the tone for a wonderful Christmas Season!

The Valentine’s Day Party  is  a relaxing time of crafts, games, story-telling and cookie decorating.

Free Enterprise Day is a great way for our children to make something and “sell” it to their peers. Our children made wood carvings, jewelry, decorative storage cans, play dough, baked goods, and so much more. They each had their own “stand” and received an allottment of “money” to be used in buying and selling, thus helping them to understand “free enterprise.”

Track and Field Day usually blesses us with lovely sunshine and cooling breezes. The children romp and play at the park and compete in sack and running races.

Dr. Seuss Day was a delightful day and a feast for the eyes! We learned lots about Dr. Seuss and his stories were brought alive by activities, crafts, and of course, colorful and delicious food!  This year (2012-2013) was our fist year for this, and we’re hoping it becomes an annual event!

Project Fair, our annual end-of-the-year event, showcases our children’s hard work!  How rewarding to listen to poetry recitations, piano masterpieces, and lovely singing!  How rewarding to peruse projects and posters about art, geography, science, history, and textiles!  Our children are bright, motivated, and well-grounded, and they really show their stuff at project fair!

Friday Classes are going to be held each Friday during October and run from 9:30-11:30 am.  Classes are for kindergarten through 12th grade.  Chemistry classes, conflict management classes, literature, art, and more!  Get in touch with us to participate!

Mothers’ Coffees provide fellowship, support, and laughter as moms come together every 6 weeks on Saturday mornings to discuss various homeschooling topics and just have time to seek encouragement without interruptions. Thanks, Dads, for helping us out here with childcare!
